WitrQuran is a free and open source Quran listening platform created to provide a simple fast and uninterrupted listening experience
By accessing or using WitrQuran you agree to these Terms of Use
If you do not agree with these terms please do not use the website
1. About WitrQuran
WitrQuran is an independent open source project created and maintained by Md Faruk Abdulla
The purpose of WitrQuran is to make listening to the Quran simple accessible and free from unnecessary distractions
The Quran is the Book of Almighty Allah SWT
WitrQuran does not claim to create author or own the Quran
The platform is simply a tool created to make listening easier for everyone by the will of Allah SWT
2. Free Access
WitrQuran is completely free to use
There are:
- No paid subscriptions
- No paid features
- No required accounts
- No registration fees
- No mandatory donations
You may use the website for its intended purpose without creating an account or providing personal information
3. Permitted Use
You may use WitrQuran for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes including:
- Listening to Quran recitations
- Using the website for personal Quran study
- Sharing the WitrQuran website with others
- Accessing the publicly available open source code
- Contributing to the project through GitHub
You must not use WitrQuran in a way that violates applicable laws or attempts to interfere with the operation or security of the website
4. No Account Required
WitrQuran does not currently provide user accounts
You are not required to create an account provide a password or submit personal information to listen to the Quran
5. Open Source Software
The WitrQuran source code is publicly available on GitHub
The software is released under the MIT License
The MIT License governs the use modification distribution and other rights relating to the WitrQuran source code
These Terms of Use do not replace or modify the MIT License
6. Quran Content and Audio
The Quran is the Book of Almighty Allah SWT
WitrQuran provides access to Quranic Arabic audio for listening
The Quran itself is not created or authored by WitrQuran
WitrQuran also does not claim ownership of third-party recitation recordings made available through the platform
Where applicable the rights and attribution associated with third-party content remain with their respective owners

7. Third-Party Services
WitrQuran may rely on external infrastructure and services to operate and deliver the website and audio
These may include services such as Cloudflare Vercel and external audio or content services
Those services may have their own terms privacy policies and technical requirements
WitrQuran is not responsible for the independent policies or practices of third-party services
8. Availability
We aim to keep WitrQuran available fast and reliable
However we do not guarantee that the website will always be:
- Available
- Error free
- Uninterrupted
- Compatible with every device or browser
- Free from temporary technical problems
The website may occasionally be modified updated suspended or temporarily unavailable for maintenance or other technical reasons
9. Accuracy and Content
WitrQuran is designed primarily as a Quran listening platform
We make reasonable efforts to maintain the platform and its content correctly
However technical errors interruptions or inaccuracies may occur
If you identify an issue please report it through our designated reporting channel so that it can be reviewed
10. No Religious Authority
WitrQuran is a listening platform
It does not provide:
- Fatwas
- Religious rulings
- Islamic legal advice
- Personalized religious guidance
- Scholarly interpretation
Nothing on WitrQuran should be understood as replacing qualified Islamic scholarship
11. Intellectual Property
The WitrQuran software is open source under the MIT License
Other materials available through WitrQuran including third-party audio recordings may be subject to separate intellectual property rights
You may not assume that every piece of content available through the platform is owned by WitrQuran or covered by the MIT License
If you believe content infringes your rights please contact us through the designated contact channel
12. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Attempt to disrupt or damage WitrQuran
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or services
- Abuse or overload the website
- Circumvent security measures
- Use automated systems in a manner that harms the service
- Use WitrQuran for unlawful purposes

WitrQuran may contain links to external websites or services
These websites are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies
We are not responsible for the content availability security or practices of external websites
