WitrQuran is a free and open source Quran listening platform created to make listening to the Quran simple fast and free from unnecessary distractions
The Quran is the Book of Almighty Allah SWT
WitrQuran does not claim to create author modify or own the Quran
This policy explains how copyright and content rights are handled on WitrQuran
1. Quran
The Quran is the revelation of Almighty Allah SWT
WitrQuran does not claim ownership over the Quran itself
WitrQuran is simply a platform created to make listening to the Quran easier for everyone by the will of Allah SWT
2. Quran Recitation Audio
The Quran recitation audio available through WitrQuran is provided through an external source
The audio was not recorded or produced by WitrQuran
WitrQuran does not claim ownership of the underlying recitation recordings
Any copyright or related rights associated with third party recordings remain with their respective owners or licensors
3. WitrQuran Source Code
The WitrQuran software is open source and released under the MIT License
The source code can be publicly inspected modified and redistributed subject to the terms of the MIT License
The MIT License applies to the WitrQuran source code and does not automatically apply to third party audio content or other third party resources
4. Third Party Content
WitrQuran may provide access to or rely upon content and services supplied by third parties
Third party content may have separate copyright licenses terms of use or usage restrictions
The presence of third party content on WitrQuran does not mean that WitrQuran owns that content
Users should respect the applicable rights and terms associated with third party content
5. Copyright Complaints
If you believe that content made available through WitrQuran infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights you can report the matter to us
Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate the complaint
A useful report should include:
- Your full name
- Your contact information
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the content you believe infringes your rights
- The location of the relevant content
- An explanation of why you believe the content infringes your rights
- Any supporting information that may help us review the matter

When a copyright or content complaint is received we may review the information provided and investigate the reported material
Depending on the circumstances we may:

- Remove or restrict access to the reported content
- Contact the relevant third party
- Take other appropriate action
Submitting a complaint does not automatically guarantee removal
Each report may require individual review
7. False or Misleading Claims
Please do not submit knowingly false fraudulent or misleading copyright complaints
Abuse of the reporting process may result in the complaint being disregarded
8. Content Accuracy
WitrQuran is designed specifically as a Quran listening platform
We do not provide translations commentary or independent religious interpretations
If you believe that Quranic audio or related content is incorrect or technically affected please report the issue so that it can be reviewed
9. User Submitted Material
WitrQuran currently does not provide a system for users to publicly upload or publish their own content
There are no public user profiles comments posts or community submissions
Any information voluntarily provided through contact or reporting channels is used only for the purpose for which it was submitted
10. Copyright in WitrQuran
The WitrQuran website software and original materials created specifically for the project may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws
The source code is separately licensed under the MIT License
Third party content remains subject to the rights and licenses of its respective owners

We respect copyright and intellectual property rights
If you believe something available through WitrQuran should not be available or requires additional authorization please contact us rather than attempting to resolve the matter through unauthorized access or disruption of the service

We may update this Copyright & Content Policy when the website content sources licensing arrangements or applicable requirements change
The Last Updated date will be updated when material changes are made
